Larry Pierson and Susan Peery established Glazing Contractors of Virginia, Inc. in 2019, combining Larry’s glass subcontracting experience with Susan’s general contracting background. Together, they leverage 25 years in the local commercial construction market, expanding and sharing their experience, outstanding past performances, and partnerships with area architects and contractors.
Glass is organic, adaptable, protective, and eternally classic. Glass can be minimal or highly stylized. Our team takes ideas and turns them into reality for our clients. From concept to fabrication, installation, and the customer experience, we are committed to providing exceptional services.

Larry Pierson, Principal
Highly sought-after for his industry knowledge, Larry grew into his position as a corporate executive. Glass runs in his family; he started as an apprentice at an early age, working with his father, uncles, and cousins. Learning the trade from the ground up gives Larry a unique ability to solve challenging problems and execute complex projects. Partnering with architects, designers, tradesmen, fabricators, and our installers, he leads each project to completion. He is responsible for production – scheduling, quality control, risk identification, problem solving, project safety, compliance, and client relationships.
Susan Peery, CCM, Principal
Susan is a construction manager whose career focus is commercial interiors. She earned her CCM credentials, confirming her commitment to the profession of Certified Construction Managers. Her passion for collaboration and problem-solving coordinates perfectly with our client base of general contractors and architects. Susan focuses primarily on the pre-construction aspects of projects. Her duties include conceptual budget to estimating, client relations, community involvement, and corporate finances.
